These beautiful wooden ducks are hand carved from bamboo root, which is a sustainable material. They are then dried in 'kiln-dry chambers' which stops any cracking which can form by being placed in centrally heated houses.

They are produced in Central Java, Indonesia and the factory plant 25 trees for every container which is shipped, to contribute to nature preservation. The factory has recently launched an environmental program to recycle the sawdust from their furniture and handicraft production, to make natural compost, which is distributed in and around the factory and neighbouring villages.
